This was one of those jobs. After discovering entry points in all the usual places, (gable overhangs) i thought i had this one pegged. So i’ve closed all the possum entry points and set the traps, removed two fat possums and thought to myself, ‘Job well done, onwards’
Then a couple of days later I get the call from Jacinta. “possums are back” she empathetically informs me. So back i go to set traps again and re inspect the building. I went over that Highgate Hill home so many times. I could not for the life of me find the entry points these sneaky little bastard possums were using to get back inside.
There was however one spot. (obviously!) One unlikely hard to get to tiny little area that had eluded my eye. An area at the top of the wall about 100 mm long that from the ground could not be seen and from the roof itself I was virtually touching but could not see. Only by placing my ladder on the roof of the garage and hanging precariously around a corner did I finally find the elusive possum entry point. Hallelujah!!
Moral of the story.
